Our Montreal Office
We are located in Old Montreal, in what is considered historically to be the very first mixed-use development – and subsequently the first mixed-use redevelopment – in North America.
Our offices were the King of France’s stables, attached to military offices, parade grounds, and residences, religious seminaries and a hospital, all integrated seamlessly within the original fortified city. A revitalization project began in 1967, incorporating offices, residential space, courtyards and restaurants. The area is now a model of mixed-use neighbourhood revitalization, successful real estate development and asset maximization.
We use the redeveloped Old Montreal as our living laboratory for understanding the fundamentals of mixed-use. LiveWorkLearnPlay also welcomes guests to participate in the annual Institute for Mixed-Use Planning and Development conference (click on invitation or video).
Our Team
We are a multidisciplinary team of professionals with eight decades of combined senior leadership and expertise in the field of planning and developing mixed-use legacy projects.
