LiveWorkLearnPlay’s written section of the East Bayfront RFP (the Ground Floor Animation Strategy) and review of all the RFP responses, provided Waterfront Toronto with an expert opinion and direction to support its selection process of a developer of the East Bayfront development project.
THE PLACE
East Bayfront is the jewel in Toronto’s waterfront crown. Roughly the same size as Canary Wharf and Battery Park City, on the shores of Lake Ontario, East Bayfront is just steps away from Canada’s largest financial and cultural urban core. Led by Waterfront Toronto (a group formed by the Government of Canada, the Province of Ontario and the City of Toronto) to oversee and lead the waterfront revitalization program, East Bayfront will become home to a vibrant, sustainable new waterfront community featuring residential, commercial and retail amenities, continuous public access to the water’s edge, dedicated public transit, and a series of new parks and public spaces.
OUR FOCUS
LiveWorkLearnPlay was engaged to draft the Ground Floor Animation Strategy section for the East Bayfront RFP, and to review and provide direction to Waterfront Toronto based on the quality and effectiveness of the responses received from prospective developers.
